Each year billions of dollars are made through the sale of crystal meth.
This drug is highly addictive and can destroy lives in a short period of time, and can cause permanent brain damage, various physical problems or even death. This drug deprives the body of different nutrients and vitamins which you can notice in a user's complexion, and lead to rotted teeth and gums as well.
Addicts exhibit certain patterns of behavior which are symptoms of the drug. They can be hyper active, the can stay up for days without sleep; they can have panic attacks as well as being extremely irritable. The side effects can be instant as well as long lasting. The onset of permanent health problems from taking the drug can set in very quickly and do not require long lasting use.
People addicted to crystal meth can lose extreme amounts of weight, have rotting teeth, and suffer damage to their skin. An overdose of meth can kill you immediately, or cause a psychotic state and extremely erratic behavior, both indicative of brain damage.
Meth addiction is very difficult to treat. It requires intensive physical therapy as well as mental support in a drug treatment facility. The addict needs to be weaned off the drug gradually to avoid deadly or extremely debilitating withdrawal effects. There are many treatment centers around the country, and if somebody you know is an addict you must get them in to a treatment program as soon as possible.
A very common psycho stimulant drug that affects the entire brain is crystal meth, and it is a form of methamphetamine. It combines an intense rush of adrenaline along with a very strong feeling of euphoria. It is a highly addictive drug that can destroy lives in a very short period of time, often leading to permanent brain damage and physical problems or even death. An addict will act unusually because they are constantly on this drug. You may notice hyperactive behavior, long periods of sleeplessness, excess irritability, and episodes of paranoia and panic. It is very difficult to treat meth addiction.
