| Why do I need to book in advance |
|
Parties fill up on a first-come first-served basis, if
you register late there may not be a place for your on the
event. Registering in advance allows us to also monitor the
numbers booking and ensure an equal number attend and send you your
booking information plus allowing you to see who is coming to the
event.

I have not received my booking confirmation |
|
A booking confirmation email is sent out to you
immediately after payment has been completed. Please check that the
email is not in you junk / bulk or spam email folder.
If your still have not received the booking
confirmation please email info@xdate.co.uk
with your name and the date
you have booked for and we will resend the booking confirmation to you.
Booking confirmation are sent by email no information is sent by
post.

and how do I find out the location of an XDate Event |

The location and venue details are emailed
to you at the time of booking with a map.

more than 85% of new participants each time; you increase your opportunities

Yes and No. Yes, you need to honor the age requirements, be
single and pay for the entrance fees. No, there's no front door

The event can last up to 3 hours

How will I know who wants to see me again
|
|
Login to our secure system
using the login details we have sent to you in your booking
confirmation email. When you have logged in all the
people you have spoken to on the evening will be listed.
Just tick the names of the people you would like to see and
communicate with again and the system will automatically tell you the
name of the people you have matched with.
Giving you their first name and email address so your privacy is
maintained.
The rest is up to you.

What's the procedure once everyone arrives at the venue |
|
Upon arriving
at the venue, you will be welcomed by your host for the evening
and handed an XDate match form,
a nametag and a pen.
Once all participants have arrived, the XDate host will give you instructions
of how the night will proceed as well as answer
any questions you may have.
You will all be asked to take your seats women will remain seated for
the night, while the men will be signalled to move
on to there next
date after three minutes.
You are then given an extra minute to fill out your match form.
After each date you will receive an extra minute to tick “yes”, “no”
or "Friend" on your match form next to the name of
the person
you have been talking to as
to whether they’d like to see that person again.
The men then rotate
and the next date begins.
There will be a
number of breaks depending on the number of participants. After the event attendees usually socialise at the bar - this is
optional.

Can I pay at the door |

We ask people to book in advance for a number of reasons
1) So you are registered on the system
2) Security - We have details of
everyone attending
3) Monitoring the numbers attending
4) Ensuring there are equal numbers.

If I sign up will I receive junk mail from other companies |
|
No, it is an
XDate policy not to sell our users details, you will however receive the occasional email from us informing you of nights we may be holding and special promotional offers.

The registration form asks for personal information, such as address and
phone number. In the event of a match after the event, is all of this
information given to the other person? If not, what information IS given
to the other person

Your matches only receive your first name and email address.
No credit card information is held by XDate.

What is the minimum number of people an event will
proceed with |
|
The average number of people to
attend an XDate Speed Dating event is 30 people i.e 15 couples with
many events in excess of 40. The minimum number of people an event
will proceed with is 20 i.e 10 of each.
