About Speed Dating and how it works :
Upto 20 men & 20 women meet at a central location. They are paired off at
tables for two, and given 3 minutes to get acquainted with each other.
Each is given a card to keep track of the people they meet, and to decide
if they would like to get to know the person further.
After 3 minutes, the bell rings, if you like the person and want to get
to know them further, mark your card.
The guys then move on to the next table. This process continues until all
the couples have met each other.
A small break is taken mid way through.
At the end of the evening, everyone is invited to spend some time at the bar and has a chance to mingle further.
If your feeling a bit nervous, don't worry, at the beginning of the evening everybody is a little nervous, but after your first few dates, you will get the hang of it, and you will have a great time meeting new people.

To find out who you have matched with after the event you just login to the members area and enter your selections. Click here
If the person you have selected also selects you an instant match is made and you are notified by email immediately with their contact email details.
What type of people will you meet?
You will meet other singles working in a broad spectrum of fields. Some
of the attendees (or xdaters as we like them to be known) are sectaries,
brokers, it professionals, media, retailers, models and even a doctor.
All these people have a common bond, they want to meet, strike up a conversation
and if you both like each other make further contact.
What
if I don’t know what to say?
What works is to be yourself, at first everybody's a bit nervous but you
soon settle down and you will be chatting and exchanging views after a short
while.
